Osama Mohammed Afzal

I am a Graduate Student studying NLP at Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence under the supervision of Prof. Preslav Nakov. I am currently working on Fake News and Propaganda Detection.

After completing my undergrad I worked for a startup named Phelix.ai as a Machine Learning Engineer working primarily on building an end to end Machine Learning Pipeline to be deployed on Google Cloud Platform. I also worked on setting up the base for a MLOps pipeline to account for data drift.

I did my undergraduate from National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST), Islamabad working in TUKL-NUST R&D Lab and was advised by Dr. Faisal Shafait on Document Analysis.
